= Abstract L it hium alum inosilicat e ( L A S g lass- ceramics have at tr act ed co nsiderable research and
applicat ion because of it s low t hermal ex pansion and hig h t ransparency. It is consider ed t hat the B- quart z solid
solution grains could limit t he furt her development of t he flaw size ev ident ly by cau sing crack div ert or blunt ,
w hich indicates t he special f ract ure charact er ist ics and cry st allizat io n st reng thening in L A S g lass- ceramics .
Ow ing t o t he sim ilarit y w it h parent glass , t he surf ace st reng t hening t echnolog y of LA S g lass- ceram ics has
become a new focus area based o n the experience o f com mon g lasses . In t his paper, the developments o f st udy
on sur face str engt hening of L A S glass- ceramics w ere f ully discu ssed, and it is u sef ul t o the t echnical inno vatio n
and applicat ion in t his dom ain .
