The AT 89S52 online programm ab le s inglech ip com puter was used as controller in both unipolar and bipolar dri ing circuit des igns for wt o phase stepp ing motor, and dri ing circu its w ere composed of T IP142 darlington pow er trans istors. The structure of designed circuit is smi ple, and the design thread is clear. The feature, difference and selection m ethod in use of un ipolar and bipolar dri ing circuits design schem es w ere analyzed and com pared in this paper.
