ThewaresfromQionglaikilnsitebearuniquenationalstylesandstrikinglocalfeatures.A seriesofgreenglazedshardswithmildglossandjade-likeopaqueappearance,excavatedfrom Shifangtangkilnsite,wereadoptedastestsamples.Theglazeandbodycompositionsandmi- crostructuresoftheshardswerestudiedbymeansofEDXRF,FESEMandDTEM/SAD/EDS. ThestudyhasdemonstratedthattheopaquegreenglazesfromQionglaikilnsitearehightem- peraturecalcium (magnesium)glazesandtypicalphase-separationglazes.Inthephase-separa- tionstructure,theisolateddropletisrichinSiandthecontinuousphaseisrichinCaandMg. SmallamountofP,TiandFealsoenrichesinthematrixandpromotesphaseseparation.AI suppressesphaseseparationandeffectivelydecreasesTbtemperaturetoalowertemperature belowliquidus,thusavoidingtheformationofcoarsephase-separationstructure.Theaverage equivalentdiameterofthedropletsfallsintherangeof0.1一0.4fsmwhichisclosetothe wavelengthrangeoftheincidentvisiblelight,resultingingoodopacificationeffect,mildgloss andjade-likefeel.ThegreenGlazefromQionglaiKilnSiteisoneoftheearliestphase-separa- tionopaqueglazesinChina.TheopaqueglazesfromQionglaikilnsitearequitesimilartothose fromChangshakilnsiteinmanyaspects,suchasappearance,chemicalcompositions,phase separationstructureandphasecompositions.Thisfurtherprovesthatthereexistsaclosecor- relationbetweenQionglaikilnandChangshakiln ·本工作褥到中国科学院知识创毓工怪项目(KICX-No.4)、中国博士后科学基金、上梅古肉砚科掌技术研究会科掌基金资助
