VERIZON REAL ESTATE (VZRE)
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
AND
METHOD OF PROCEDURE (MOP)
DEFINITION: This document sets forth-mandatory requirements for all Contractors that perform building construction related work on Verizon (VZ) premises. A primary purpose of this document is to eliminate telephone service interruptions that are caused by construction and / or repair work activities.
ADMINISTRATION: A copy of this document shall be included as a part of the contract documents for every building Construction and / or repair project. The Contractor is responsible for the adherence of its subcontractor(s) to this document and shall sign, obtain necessary signatures and provide a copy to VZ prior to the start of work. A violation of the policies set forth herein may be a material breach of the contract between VZ and Contractor and may result in removal of Contractor from VZ’s qualified bidders list. Contractor agrees to reimburse VZ for the costs of prosecuting any claim (including legal fees) resulting from any violation of the policies set forth herein by contractor that result in a telephone service interruption or financial loss to VZ.

REQUIREMENTS FOR WORKING IN ALL Verizon FACILITIES:
Contractor or its subcontractors must:

Notify the appropriate VZ Real Estate (RE) Representative at least forty-eight (48) hours prior
to starting a project, via voice mail, Email and or fax.
Dirt and debris from cutting drilling demolition, etc. shall be removed at the end of each work activity or before leaving the job site each day to prevent tracking dirt and debris through the building. A damp mop, tack cloth or HEPA vacuum shall be utilized. Contractor shall not use VZ’s trash
