能用英语去评价、鼓励别人。
3、情感目标:培养学生的合作意识、参与意识及交际策略。
学会发现、欣赏别人的优点。在别人不自信时鼓励、宽慰别人,帮助提升自信。
教学重难点:表述自己能做某事的程度;鼓励他人的句型。
教学过程:
I. Warm up1. Greetings. Then sing a song together.
2. Free talk.
The Olympic Game concluded in August. These were truly exceptional Games! Do you know how many medals we have got? The athletes did very well.
Talk about the capability of the athletes. 棗 play ping-pong well/ jump high/ run fast/ swim fast.
3. eI can’t do sports well, but I am good at drawing. Draw “Lingling” on the blackboard. Can I draw well?
Ask a student: Can you swim well/ run fast/ play football…?
Then let the students practice in pairs. Can you…? Yes, I can. No, I can’t.
II. Presentation.
1. Lingling wants to play basketball, can she play well?
Watch the video and find out the answer.
2. What skills do we need to play basketball well?
Listen and underline the activities they talk about.棗 run fast/ catch the ball/ jump high
yDo actions to let the students understand “catch the ball”
3. Can Lingling run fast/ catch the ball/ jump high? Read by themselves and find out the answer.
Can she catch the ball? Not very well. It means she can but she can’t do it well.

4. Practice: suppose you were Lingling. Ask and answer according the story.
