With the study, the foundation of clinical application of nasolabial flap will be confirm. [Method] The random-pattern nasolabial flap and nasolabial fold axis flap were used to repair facial defects according to the anatomical relationship of the location, range, extent of defects and homolateral nasolabial sulcus. ALL the defects covering cheek, lower eyelid,nose and lip were described with words and pictures. On the same way, the detail about operative technique, postoperative treatment and results were recorded precisely. Review recent literature about anatomy and clinical application of nasolabial flap and explore the improvement method with particular classification and summary. [Results] From January 2004 to January 2009，49 cases were collected, whom have soft tissue defect in face. The size of defect ranged from 1.0×1.0cm to 6×2cm. Of the 49 flaps used for facial reconstruction, 47 survived completely. Only 2 dissatisfy results were repaired with delay.The other patients were satisfied with the postoperative na
