Teaching Materials 1.2 Status and Function The theme of this unit is disasters that are caused by natural forces. The teaching contents of the whole unit will be arranged as the following: 1. It helps the students to understand the frightening experiences of a volcanologist, and encourage them to express their feelings and emotions of joy, fear, anxiety and surprise. 1.
