A sexual reproduction plays mi portant roles in t e adaptation ofmoss to environments, especially to t e d isturbed, unstable and extreme environm ents. T e asexual propagu les ofmoss can be d-i vided into wt o main types, i. e. , vegetative propagules and specialized asexual reproductive propagules, and t e latter includes eig t subtypes, i. e. , deciduous s oot apices, flagella, cadu- cous branc lets, bu lb ils, r izoidal tubers, endogenous gemmae, gemmae, and caducous leaves. T is paper summ arized t emorp ological c aracteristics of propagu les and t eirmorp ogenesis.
