U sing rem ote sensing data,and digital terrain data and meteorological data, and choosing heat and w ater conditions, topography, soil ero sion and land coverage as evaluation factors, the natural ecoenvironment situation is analyzed and assessed quantitatively. The results show that the environment quality of the Danjiangkou r eservoir area is general and slightly good as a w hole w ith 43% good of total, 47% general, 10% poor. E coenvironment quality has elevation area differentiation and regional differences. The quality of low altitude area is relatively good, m iddle and high altitude areas relatively poor; and the m iddleeastern areas are relatively good, northern and w estern relatively poor. In this paper, the effect factors of the ecoenvironmental quality are analyzed, and some m easures for improving and pr otecting ecoenvironment are put forw ard.
