T he projector calibration technique is based on double- f ace calibration block . T he up surf ace of the block w ith patter n of w hite circular po ints on black background is u sed to complete camera calibration by T sai tw o- step method and non- linear opti- mization. T he do w n surf ace of the block is w hite in unifo rm r eflection co ndition , the projector projects tw o- dimensional line w ith high intensit y to form characteristic points . T her e ar e tw o met hods to solve t he diff icult problem that the three dimensio nal coo rdinates of the points are hard to achieve: one is according t he result of camera calibr at ion, the o ther is by cross- ratio w it h the patter n of circular points on up surf ace to get more eff ective input data. T he calibration device is simple, the w hole oper atio n is convenient . T he ex periment results prove the accur acy of calibration is satisf ied. Key words: 3D me
