Unit14是Module5的第二个单元,学生在Unit13和四年级时已学习了一定关于食物的单词和句型,本单元要在复习巩固的基础上,学习和拓展运用新单词和句型。 二、教学对象分析 五年级学生经过三年的英语学习,积累了一定的基础,他们精力旺盛,自信心强,对贴近生活的学习内容有强烈的学习兴趣。本module涉及的食物单词为大部分学生所喜爱,但是本单元单词量较多而且较长。 三、教学目标 1.语言知识目标: 单词:shall, restaurant, famous, pork, sea food, menu, strange, again, different, kind, important, fruit-vegetables, cereal, agree. 句型:---Which food would you like? ---Do you agree with me? ---Yes. /No. It’s /they’re the most … …. 2.语言技能目标: 能用所学语言询问和回答喜欢的食物。 3.情感态度目标: 了解和合理安排日常饮食搭配。 4.学习策略目标: 培养学生的观察力和认真细致的学习态度。 四、教学重、难点: 1.掌握单词。 2.对课文中出现的最高级?most的理解。 五、教学策略: 以最喜爱的食物话题为切入点,自然地进入情境,理解对话内容。 六、教学媒体: 图片,VCD, 录音机. 七、教学过程: 1. Warm-up A. Sing the song “Pizza and Chips”. B. Chain game: P67 EX2. S1: I prefer chips. S2: You prefer chips and I prefer noodles. S3: She prefers chips, you prefer noodles and I prefer hot dogs. … 2. Revision and present some new words and sentences. T (=Teacher) shows pictures of foods as well as pork and sea food, which are new words, and talk about them with the pupils. ---Which food do you prefer? ---I prefer …. …are more delicious than …. ---Which food do you like best? ---I like … best. ---Which is your favourite food? ---…Is my favourite food. ---Which is the most delicious food? ---… is the most delicious food. 3. Presentation A. T tell the pupils what they are going to do in this class. “Today we are going to learn Unit 14.This is a story about the Webbs.” B. T sets the situation of the dialogue and presents these words: shall, restaurant, famous. C. T asks the pupils to look at the pictures and try to tell what happens in every picture. D. T corrects them if necessary and presents the new words that come up in each part of the dialogue. The pupils read out the new words after T and try to mark them on their books. E. T presents the dialogue by
