How to help students to improve their listening ability. 2. How to make students master the language points very well. 3. How to help Ss understand the listening material exactly Teaching Methods: 1. Discussion 2. Individual or pair work 3. Listening and answering activity to help the Ss go through the listening material. 教学分层设计: 在实验班,促进全体学生的主人翁参与意识,积极设计和开发学生的最大潜力,做到最佳效果; 在普通班,随时有意识地激励学生们在各个方面的踊跃发言,让每位同学跟着老师的思路走,慢慢引导。 Teaching Procedures: Step 1 Greetings and Lead-in. Greet the students as usual. Ask the Ss to talk about their hometown and their houses. Where are you from, a city or a small town? Can you describe the buildings in your hometown? What kind of buildings do you live in, a traditional house or an apartment? Step 2 Warming up Show students two pictures, a tall building and a traditional yard. T: what can you see in the two pictures? What is the difference between them? (When the Ss describe the pictures, remind the students to think about the differences in the two pictures. Encourage them to think out reasons as many as possible.)
