Summary：Theprotectiveeffectsof nvitrocultivatedcalculusboris(ICCB1onthecerebraland
myocardialcellsinhypoxicmiceandthemechanism wereexami ned．Inonegroup．micewereintra—
gastrically(i．g．)givenICCBforl5daysandthentl1eyweresubiectedtoacutecerebralischemiaby
decapitation，andthenthepantingtimewasrecorded．nI theothergroup．12mi nafterexposureto
hypoxia，micewas,admi nisteredtheICCB i．g．ofr5days，andthenthebloodserum na dtissuesof
brain，heart，Jiverwereharvestedandexami nedforS0D，GSH—pxandT-AOC activityandcontentof
MDA．Thetissuesofbrain and heartwere observed electron—microscopicallyofrultrastructural
changes．Th ecorpusstriatum andhippocampusofbrainwerecollectedandexaminedofrcontentof
dopamine(DA)andnorepinephrine(NE)．Theultrastruralexaminationshowedthatthepathological
changeinbrainnadheartintheICCB groupwasveryslight．whileabnormalchangesinthecontrol
groupwereobviouslymoreserious．ICCB significantlyprolongedthepantingtimeofthehypoxic
mi ce(心 0．001)，increasedtheactivityofSOD．GSH—px，T-AOCinserum andtissuesofbrain，liver,
