Other people would benefit through my organ donation, and I would benefit from being a donor. I would like to donate organs mainly because I would like to give people another chance at a normal life. When I die, I will not need my organs anymore. Therefore, it would be better to give them to other people who need them urgently. Even if I were dead I would still play an important part in a person’s recovery from illness. I would help another person live a prolonged, healthier life. I think this is so much more worthy than letting my organs die with me. In addition, if I am a donor, I will have priority if I ever needed a transplant surgery. Therefore, organ donation will also be beneficial for me. By getting an organ transplant, I might also have a better chance at recovering from an illness or accident. For instance, if I lost my eyesight, I would have higher chances of getting an eye transplant. Losing my eyesight would be terrible, so I will be very fortunate if I would be able to see again because somebody like me agreed to donate their eyes when they died. In conclusion, by donating my organs I would like to give hope to those who need it. Moreover, by being an organ donor myself, I would also get priority when I am the one in need of a transplant. Thus, I would like to become an organ donor.
