Du Changgui Anhui Design Institute of Chemical Industry (Abstract) This paper pointed out :batch feed and continuous water overflow washing process of the washing textile,leather,chemicals and non-domestic washing of domestic articles in daily life. This paper described the relation between the factors such as the water consum- ption ,waste constituent concentration in washing water,volume of vessel,flow rate of fresh water and time of washing per batch,in this process and derived the following equations: The equation of the concentration of the waste constituents in washing water of the nth batch, and the limit concentration of the waste constituents in washing water, Then solved for V and and obtained equations respectively. Through the analysis and examples of the applications of the equations in this pa- per drew the following principal conclusions:there is a limit concentration of the wa- ste constituents in washing water in this kind of washing process. Washing result low- ered rapidly batch after batch.As the batches increase the waste water will approach the limit concentration.If the quantity of feed per batch and waste constituent concen- tration in washing water remain constant,the lowering of waste content of the fre- washing feed stock especially less the volume of the washing vessel,can be lowered the washing water consumption and increased production in a large extent.
