哈姆雷特和鲁滨逊的形象比较 A Comparative Study of Hamlet and Robinson Crusoe Name:张玉琢 Class:2010专接本 No.20100120021052 is one of the greatest tragedies which writtern by one of the founders of realism in world literature.Without a knowledge of his character, Hamlet’s story would hardly be intelligible.Hamlet is neither a frail and weak-minded youth nor a thought-sick book-worm. The play itself does not bear out such ideas. Hamlet is a humanist,a man who is free from midieval prejudices and superstitions.He has an unbounded love for the world instead of heaven. Defoe’s Robinson Crusoe was one of the forerunners of the English realistic novel.It creates the image of an enterprising Englishman typical of the English bourgeoisie of the 18th century. We can see that Robinson Crusoe is a person with stubborn and firm character. Hamlet and Robinson both of them are bourgeoisie ,but they are in different period ,so there are many difference in theri characters.These difference reflected the different social surroundings and also prove a famous remark said by a famous psychologists that is” A mans own character shape his fortune.” Chapter One .Characters The character of Hamlet At the beginning of the play,he is grieced for his father’sdeath and his mother’s sudden marriage with his uncle,a man utterly contemptible and loathsome in his eyes.With his usual quick sensibility,he probes and examines the matter. Then there comes on him the revelation of his father’s murder,and in the “play scene”his uncle’s crime is ascertained.He buens with the hatred of hisuncle and makes a solenm oath to revenge the triple wrong of murder,usurpation and seduction.But in his repeated meditation upon the crime of his uncle ,he perceives something rotten in the state affairs,and his sense of personal wrong grows deeper and deeper until it becomes ant last a disgust for a world in which such crime precails. Now he sees that cruel and unjust rulers are tyrannizing the cuontry and
