The integration of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region raises new issues and requirements for economic geography research and teaching of Tangshan Teachers College. Economic geography teaching of Tangshan Teachers College has many problems such as the retardation of teaching methods, repeated curriculum, weak practice, slow updating of curriculum, etc. The economic geography teaching should be based on the principle of serving the local economy, the implementation of case teaching.
