A im ing at the shortage cau sed by the existing modu le division m ethod s in en suring the indep endence of functional modu les, a novel p roduct modu le p artition app roach ba sed on axiom atic de sign is p ropo sed. The imp lem en tation p rocess of the app roach is introduced. The m ethod of function modu le p artition is investigated based on function anal ysis and syn thetically con sidering the flow s ′connection s and the imp act of sequence among p arts. M eanwh ile, the m ethod emphasizes on the judging of the functional indep endence of the modu les. Finally, the m ethod is p roved to be app licab le and effective by an in stance of function modu le p artition of the online detection
