Dep ar tment of comp uter science an technology , Zhej iang University City College, H ang Zhou 310015, China) Abstract:The method of w eak signal detection based on w avelet transformation and stochastic resonance is presented, according to the noise alternative and freq ency sensitivity of the stochastic resonance. T he in- p t incl ding noise w as decomposed by m lt-i scale w avelets transform, and each scale signal w as adj sted by the different scale contraction factor, then the decomposed signal w as sed as the inp t of the bistable systems, w e examined the effect of each scale freq ency signal operated by the contraction factor on SNR of o tp t in the system. The res lt of the sim lation showed that the eq al scale contraction factor can im- prove the SNR of the system effectively .
