Analysis on the Countermeasures of Preventing Traf fic
Accidents based on Road Factors

Abstract: In order to prevent and reduce traffic accidents efficiently, and make road traffic be safe, free,
and efficient, it must consider the information of people, vehicles, roads, surroundings and management as
a organic system to study traffic accident and development rules of all inducements. T his paper analyzes
the current situation of road safety in China. According to the experience of domestic and international,
the relationship between road alignment , linear combination design crossway, gradient, the situation of
pavement, traffic environment and traffic accidents is expatiated. inally, some countermeasures about
preventing traffic accidents are proposed.
