U站介绍词U Station Introduction 尊敬的各位领导，大家好，欢迎来到中心书城U站，现在由我为大家来介绍大运会的城市志愿服务站——U station。 Good morning or afternoon, welcome to the Book City U station. I will give everyone an introduction of the Universiade City Volunteers U station. 大运会的U站共有818个，是服务的阵地、文化的载体、志愿服务的组织，是来宾之家、市民之家、志愿者之家，更是幸福之家。“U”象征“Universiade”，代表世界大运会；“U”象征“You”，代表你我他，世界各国青年的共同参与；“U”象征“Youth”，代表青年的激情与梦想；“U”象征欢乐的“UU”，代表志愿者的微笑。 The Universiade has 818 “U” stations in total, it is the home for services, a piece of the culture, an organization for the volunteers, a home for the visiting guests and the public, and home of all the volunteers. U symbolizes “Universiade”, “U” symbolizes “You”, represents all of us, and it represents the participation of the youth from the world; “U” symbolizes “Youth”, it represents passion and dreams; “U” symbolizes the happy “UU”, and the smile of the volunteers. 深圳是国家低碳生态示范 Shenzhen is China’s environmental friendly low-carbon model city, our U station is also a low-carbon environmental friendly station, the basic material used to build the U station is from scarped cargo containers, the work desk is made out of compressed shredded wood, on the roof, solar panels are installed to supply the electric power needed for the U station. Every part of the U station is recyclable, everything about it advocates for environmental protection, healthy and happy lifestyle. The “V” on the two sides of the U station represents Volunteer Service and the Universiade will be successfully held. 深圳是一座开放之城，我们的U站采用开放式构造，象征着这座移民城市面向世界、开放包容的胸怀，也能使志愿者和游客、市民更好地交流。 Shenzhen is an open city, in the U station, we use an open design to represent this city of immigrants is open to the world with an open heart. The openness in design of the U station can facilitate volunteers to better communicate to the visitors, and the public. 深圳是一座志愿之城，志愿服务精神深入人心，也是全国志愿服务站分布密度最高的城市。我们依托U站，重点开展三项市民参与活动：一是家庭总动员。开展“小手拉大手”家庭志愿服务计划，让志愿服务成为青少年德育教育的实践载体。二是社区总动员。组织50万社区平安志愿者助力“平安大运”。三是社会总动员。万名地铁志愿者在地铁站开展文明引导,13万多人次的公务员志
