The upgrade is easy to perform, and does not require any network disruption, since the cords do not have to be removed. [Next slide] These are the components of the iPatch Intelligent Infrastructure Solution. ? iPatch Intelligent Copper Patch Panels provide intelligence for managing the physical network infrastructure. They are available in either 24-port 1U or 48-port 2U varieties.. ? iPatch Intelligent Fiber Optic Shelves come equipped with 12 duplex SC couplers, offering 24 fibers, or 24 duplex LC couplers, offering 48 fibers. They support both simplex and duplex patch connections and are available with either fixed or sliding fiber trays and pre-terminated versions. ? The iPatch Panel Manager is installed on each server rack. It collects and communicates connectivity information for iPatch panels on each rack to the SYSTIMAX iPatch System Manager. ? The iPatch Network Manager provides network connectivity to the patch panels. It can be mounted on the same bracket as the Panel Manager. The iPatch System Manager is the brains behind the iPatch Intelligent Infrastructure Management Solution, providing automatic documentation of network connectivity, discovery of IP and SAN devices, and intelligent service provisioning features.
