* As you can see from this slide there are numerous areas where security must be examined closely. Some of the issues are quite obvious, and others are most security issues which are more important today than say 10 years ago. Obviously strong authentication is something many customers are looking at. Usernames and passwords are commonly used in applications, however, stronger forms of authentication address the weaknesses associated with this type of authentication. Network Security is pretty obvious. It’s pretty easy to listen in on network traffic, so encrypting the network layer is important to protecting sensitive information.
