致申请者的信 欢迎报读中山大学。 中山大学自主招收中国政府奖学金外国研究生项目因申请时间有限，请有意申请者尽快向我校提出申请，并邮寄招生简章上要求的有关资料。 现有几点需要进一步说明的事项如下： 申请者入学后必须严格遵守中国政府法律，法令及学校管理规定。 递交入学申请后，将由导师、有关院系、学校招生部门审核申请材料后才确定是否录取。我校将在7月至8月初向被我校录取的申请者发出录取通知书。 在学习期间提供的生活费仅作伙食费用（一般情况下每人每月需伙食费开支约800元），不包括个人其他方面的零用费。 入学后一般情况下不办理休学，否则奖学金可能中断。 中国政府奖学金每年进行评审一次，享受奖学金者每年必须参加中国政府奖学金的评审，行为表现、学习表现良好者继续享受下一年度的奖学金。 不明之处，请按招生简章上的联系方式与我们联系。 附：博士和硕士学位招生学科和专业 中山大学外国留学生办公室 2008年4月21日 April 21, 2008 A Letter to Applicants Dear Applicants: Welcome to the study programs offered by Sun Yat-sen University! Since the time is very limited for the MA/MS and Ph. D program on a Chinese-government-scholarship basis by Sun Yat-sen University, we hope that you could put forward your applications if you would like to apply for this program and send us your application materials as mentioned in the prospectus at your earliest convenience. Here are several points we would like to draw your attention: 1. After entering school, the candidates will have to abide by the pertinent laws and regulations of the Chinese government and observe regulations formulated by the university. 2. After the applicants hand in their applications, the tutors from various departments or colleges as well as the admission office will examine your applications and decide whether your applications will be accepted or not. In July or August, 2008, we will issue the admission notices to the qualified applicants. 3. During the study program, the cost of living offered by the University is only regarded as your board expenses (Generally, the monthly expenses for the board is about RMB800/person). Other personal expenses are not included in this sum. 4. After entering school, generally, suspension of school is not allowed. Otherwise, your scholarship would be suspended. 5.
