The Analysis of Origin and Social Function of DINK Families

Abstract : With the development of so iety and the hange of value, the DINK families have ome into
being in some big2 and medium2sized ities of China and in rease year by year. The appearan e of DINK
families in China results from the high ost of raising a hild, the hange of on ept of marriage and pro2
reation, the transformation of traditional pro reation motive, the influen e of western ulture and the pro2
gress of so ial se urity system. The in rease of DINK family have both positive and negative fun tion to
the so iety, but it will not be ome a so ial problem temporarily. We should inquire a kind of DINK family
whi h ould oexist with the patten of traditional family harmoniously at the present stage.
