: The problem of roadcenterlineautomaticrecognitionduring roadmarking spraying isstudied
and solved.The captured road image is processed for gradation,thresholding and edge detection. An
automatic recognition method based on thresholding and distance transform is proposed,choosing
pavement as the background and both sides of the roadas theobject,to get thedistance matrix.Judging
the peak point by analyzing the distance between road pixels and the sides, the road centerline is
determined.The results show :While distance between road pixels and the sides reaches the maximum,
thegrayedimageis displayed brightly,which indicates that these pixels are the centerline of the road.
TheDSP runs stably,and lag andcrash are eliminated.
