After being ionized, the electron, negative ion and positive ion are absorbed by dust particles passing through the electrostatic field. The charged dust particles move to the reversed polarity electrodes and precipitate on them. In this way, dust is separated with air. When the dust accumulated on the electrodes reach to a certain thickness, they will shed in strips when being shaken.
