The re su lts showed that: the econom ic sp atial struc ture of the northea stern econom ic zone has been undergoing neighborhood - diffu sion w ith H arb in and Shenyang a s the econom ic grow th centers since 1990 s; the evo lution of regional sp atial structu re of the northea stern econom ic zone has form ed a h igh in tegration mode and structure, wh ich ha s exp erienced three state s: nuclear, po in t - axis, and network sp ace structure.
