Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday 教 学 活 动 设 计 设 计 意 图 Step1. Warm up: T: Class begins! Morning! Boys and girls! S: Morning ,teacher! T: In this holiday, I went to some supermarket, hotel and many friends’ house for Chinese new year. So I’m so happy. Did you have a good holiday? Who’d like to introduce yourself? Step 2. Flashcard activity 1.???? Present the flashcards for this Unit. Play the courseware for Monday. Model the word and have the children repeat it after you. 2. Now say, “Today is Monday.” Have the children repeat the sentence after you. Repeat the procedure for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 3. Now present the question form, What day is it today? Write the question on the board and explain its meaning. Read the question aloud. Point to the words as you do so. Have the children repeat the question after you. 4.Now review the two answer forms, Today is Monday.. And It’s Monday. Play the courseware for Tuesday. Have a child come to the front of the class. Ask the child, “What day is it today?” The other children should answer, “ Today is Tuesday.” or “It’s Tuesday.” 5.???? Learn the other structures like this.
