Abstract: A creative algorithm is provided and f lfilled based on the binary- val e image, which is obtained
thro gh preprocessing and edge detection, to fetch points by means of raster scan and to extract conto rs by
border following. Examples show this new method can detect pixel conto r more acc rately.
