By virtue of Nash bargaining solution, a joint production model is established for cooperative RD with double moral hazards. It shows that net income realized increases when the RD capacity of the participants improves. It analyzes how the RD capacity and bargaining power affect the optimal linear sharing ratio, it is concluded that share of a certain participant, independent of the bargaining powers of both two parties, becomes larger as its own RD capacity becomes stronger. It investigates relationships between RD modes and the RD capacity and points out that the cooperative RD mode would be taken only when there exists a positive net cooperative residual. When gap between RD capacities of both the two participants in cooperative RD is extraordinary large, one party with relatively weak RD capacity would outsource RD to the other party with the relatively strong RD capacity.
