A bstract: The recovery and separation of Co and N i becom e m ore mi portant w ith the shortage of their resources.
Through the investigation of relative literaturesw ith 20 years, the technical developm ent trend at hom e and abroad is summa-
rized. The current conventional methods have chem ical precp itation, extraction and ion- exchange resin, inwh ich the ion-
exchange resin is the betterm ethod. The process characteristics for the separation of Co and N i by ion- exchange m ethod
are introduced. The progress in practice and research for the recovery of Co and N i by various resin is em phatically de-
scribed.
