Producing 6201 Electric Aluminium Alloy Rod

Abstract: Continous c sting nd extrusion ( CASTEX) technology is dopted to produce 6201 electric luminium lloy rod. The f c-
tors ffecting the forming of 6201 electric luminium lloy rod, melting technology, CASTEX wheel velocity , pouring temper ture of
lloy, nd flux of cooling w ter re studied. Results indic te th t re son ble melting technology, under the condition of velocity of 15
r/ min, flux of cooling w ter of 10~ 15 L / min, pouring temper ture of 740~ 780e , 6201 electric luminium lloy rod h s good sur-
f ce qu lity nd less porosity, little oxygen m teri l impurities exist inside the rod; h rdening element: Mg Si solid solved com-
pletely, the microstructure of the rod is proper quenching microstructure.
