The effects of mo ar ratio of ino eic acid and ethano , temperature, and amount of ionic iquid on esterification reaction w ere studied and the optima reaction conditions w ere obtained, that is, n ( ethano )n ( ino eic acid) = 41, at ref uence temperature, w ith the amount of ionic iquid equa ing 42( wt . ) % of reacting matters. The resu ts show ed that [ emim] BF has good activity for esterification of ino eic acid w ith ethano , the conversion of 4 ino eic acid reached 94 % . The ionic iquid cou d be convenient y separated from the products and reused direct y w ithout any treatment for over 5 times, and the conversion rate didnt go down obvious y.
