A new topology w as adopted to construct the filter. Due to the presence of the crosscoupling betw een nonadjacent resonators, tw o finite frequency transmission zeros near the passband are produced to improve the performance of the filter. T he filter w as designed and simulated by high fre quency structure simulator ( HFSS) , and fabricated using eightlayer lowtemperature cofired ceramic ( LTCC) technology. T he measured results show a good agreement w ith the simulated results and validate the structures of the proposed filter.
