Methods 18 cases ( 22 ne ves ) of Seddon II type ne ve inju ies we e t eated with neu olysis o inte fascicula epai . A segment of epineu ium defect la ge than 5 cm occu ed. A pedicle flap of sa colemma f om nea by no mal muscle was ha vested acco ding to the size of the defect and w apped a ound the inju ed ne ve segment to fo m a tube. T he two ends of the sa colemma tube we e sutu ed to the co esponding epineu ium . Results All the patients we e followed fo 6 months to 5. 6 yea s ( ave age 32. 6 months) . 77. 3% of the cases we e g aded as good ( Standa d of B itish Medical Resea ch Council, 1954) .
