Step1:Warm up
1 Sing a song
Ss sing the song: What are you doing?
S (do actions), Ss sing.
2 Free talk
T: What are you doing now?
S: We’re having an English lesson.
T: Yes, but in this lesson, we’ll have a camping trip. OK?
Ss: OK!
Step2: presentation and practice
1 A guessing game
T: It’s great! (show a bag) I have many things in my bag.
What’s in it? Guess, please.
Ss guess.
Then learn some new words: a tin of chicken and fish, a tin-opener
Ss read after the teacher.
Ss read together.
Ss spell the word two by two.
2 Teach: tent, blanket I have… You have
T: What else? Let me show you my things.
Look, what’s this?
S: It’s a …
T: Oh, no. (打开小帐蓬) It’s a tent. I have a tent.
Ss follow the teacher.
Ss read the word and spell it one by one.
T: Who has a blanket?
Oh, you have a blanket.
Ss read the word together.
Then spell the word.

3 Teach: pot, telescope, match
