Ss can make use of “will” sentence pattern Teaching local point and difficulties: What will you do? I’ll draw the pictures / write the reports. Teaching tools: tape recorder, CAI software, some pictures Teaching course: Step 1 Greetings what’s the weather like today? What day is it today? Step 2 1. T draws a circle on the Bb and says: Look! This is a circle! I will draw two ears! (T draws two ears.) What is it? I will draw two eyes! (T draws two eyes) What is it? I will draw a nose. (T draws a nose.) What is it? I will draw a mouth. (T draws a mouth.) What is it? Oh! It’s a monkey! (这里导入will的句型，让学生感悟语言) T: Do you want to draw a picture on the blackboard? Ask 4~5 students to the front to draw a picture. And get the others to sing a song together. T say stop when the 4 Ss drawing. T asks Ss: Guess, what will S1 draw? T asks S1: What will you do? (再次灌输will 的语境，并且将这个句型由开始的第一人称悄悄的向第三人称转化。至于学生猜出个什么样的结果，那都不重要，重要的是学生对这个句型含义的感悟。) Step 3 I will make an English newspaper .First, I will draw the pictures .I will write the reports.
