With the test and the FE analysis of power unit, it was known that the structure rigidity of the composite box was very insufficient. Therefore, the structure optimization of the composite box was done by using topology optimization, and the first mode frequency of power unit was enhanced form 75Hz to 116Hz, so that the design requirement would be satisfied, at the same time, the result was validated by the modal test of new structure.
