A ction-dependent heuristic dynamic programm ing, a sort of Approxmi ate Dynam ic Programm ing ( ADP) , which uses the method of nonlinear fitting to approach to the performance index function of dynam ic programm ing, searches suboptmi al solution or optmi al solution. Smi ulation results demonstrate that, excitation system of synchronous generator controlled based on ADHDP is superior to conventional controlmethod.
