Abstract t a m - We have generalized the network approach to include the eﬀects of short- d range imperfections in order to analyze recent experiments on mesoscopic n o superconducting double loops. The presence of weakly scattering imperfec- c tions causes gaps in the phase boundary B (T ) or Φ(T ) for certain intervals of [ T , which depend on the magnetic ﬂux penetrating each loop. This is accom- 2 panied by a critical temperature T (Φ), showing a smooth transition between v c 1 symmetric and antisymmetric states. When the scattering strength of imper- 0 fections increases beyond a certain limit, gaps in the phase boundary T (B) or 2 c T (Φ) appear for values of magnetic ﬂux lying in intervals around half-integer 1 c 0 Φ0 = hc/2e.
