The serum troponin levels were measured in 120 cases, and the relationship between APACHEⅢ scores and serum troponin concentration, Mortality were analyzed. 【Results】The average APACHEⅢ score of the 120 cases was (48.6±18.7). The APACHE Ⅲ score(37.6±22.2) in the survival group was significantly lower than that (65.2±29.4) in the dead group,P 0. 01. The average serum troponin concentration of the 120 cases was (0.25±0.12) ng/mL. The troponin concentration in the survival group was(0.14±0.09)ng/mL, which was significantly lower than(1.72±0.53)ng/mL in the dead group, P 0. 01. The higher the APACHE Ⅲ scores was, the higher the serum troponin concentration was (F = 28.69, P 0.01) and the mortality (χ2=22.18, P 0.01).【Conclusion】Serum troponin levels and APACHE Ⅲ of the patients in RICU were obviously higher than those of the survival healthy people, which plays an important role in judging the conditions and prognosis of patients admitted to RICU [Key words] Acute physiology and chronic health evaluation Ⅲ(APACHEⅢ) ; 　 troponin;Prognosis;respiratory intensive care unit 肌钙蛋白是一种重要的心肌结构蛋白，是心肌细胞兴奋收缩耦联复合体的重要组成部分，是目前诊断心肌损伤较好的生化标志物，灵敏度高，特异性强。目前，有较多文献报道，在一些非心源性的危重感染患者中，可以引起心肌损伤，肌钙蛋白升高，并且和死亡率增加相关[1 2]。急性生理和慢性健康状况评分( acute physiology and chronic
