By installing the Google Drive Sync QPKG on QNAP Turbo NAS (hereafter referred to as “Turbo NAS” or “NAS), you can select a shared folder on the NAS to synchronize the data with Google Drive or simply use Google Drive as a backup destination. 1.Install Google Drive Sync QPKG To install the Google Drive Sync add-on on the Turbo NAS, login the NAS web interface as an administrator. Go to “App Center” “Backup/Sync” “Google Drive Sync”. click “Add To QTS”. 2.Link Google Drive Account From the QPKG Center, click one of the links to connect to the Google Drive Sync management interface. When prompted for password, use the NAS “admin” account and password to login. In the next step, enter your Google Drive username and password, and then click “Allow Access” to authorize your account. If automatic account verification failed, you may click “Manual Authorization” and authorize the account manually. Note: Currently only one Google Drive account is supported on one Turbo NAS. 3.Set up Scheduled Synchronization Before you can synchronize the NAS data with your Google Drive, select a NAS shared folder and specify the synchronization frequency. You can also create a subfolder for synchronization or use an existing folder. There are two synchronization options:2-way sync:?The selected folder and Google Drive will sync the data with each other. When a file is deleted on either side, the file on the other side will also be removed.
