2. Answer the following questions. 1) What is Australia famous for? It is famous for “ the land of sunshine and surfing ”. 2) What kind of city is Melbourne? It is the city with the largest number of Greek people outside Athens. 3) What about Australian culture? And what makes it something like that? The culture is a mix of different cultures because of the mix of people. 4) How do these different cultures affect different aspects of Australian culture? 5) In Australia, what kind of animals can you find? For example, we can see all these influences in modern Australian cooking. Snakes, spiders, kangaroos, sheep... 6) Where do most Australians live ? 7) And what kind of sports is very popular in Australia? What other sports are Australian people fond of? They live on the coast. Surfing. Australian people are also fond of walking, fishing, horse-riding, tennis, golf and sailing. 8) What about art and literature in Australia? 9) What about the life of native Australians? There are lively culture and art scenes there and its art and literature are advanced. Most of them live in terrible conditions. 3.
