3.1 General Principles 1) Pressure Regulator system is composed of SSV, Monitor Pressure Regulator, working pressure regulator made by safety regulator, monitor regulator connected from upstream to downstream. The range of supply, please see the equipment, instrument, interface cable and explosion protection box in diagram of pressure regulator system. SSV, Monitor pressure regulator and Working pressure regulator are all independent. In the normal condition, the SSV and the Monitor Pressure regulator are in full open position. The Working Pressure Regulator is charge of controlling the pressure in downstream. When there is some failure in Working Pressure Regulator, Monitor Pressure Regulator gets into the work automatically for maintaining the supply pressure in downstream in a safe range. If Monitor Pressure Regulator is also failure and can not control the downstream pressure, the SSV will cut the supply of this system automatically for maintaining the safety of downstream pipes and equipments. According the working condition of this project, all the pressure equipments and pressure level of pressure regulator system should apply to the requirement of ≥1.6MPa.The exit pressure level of all kinds valves should equal to the entrance pressure level, and the pressure level of pressure control valve’s take pressure parts and lead pressure parts in downstream also should be equaled to the upstream pressure levels. 2) For ensuring every equipment is working safety, the control accuracy of pressure regulator system and the right position of pressure signal pickup, system should connect, fit tightly avoid the influence of the extraneous factor of assembling, transportation, installing, debugging etc. The pressure regulator system supplied by supplier should be installed according to the order of upstream, downstream control equipment mentioned above.
