A bstrac t: Describes the physical and chem ical properties and use of Light magnesium car
bonate. M anufacturing techn ique of light m agnesium carbonate w as summarized. M eanw hile, the
m arket dem and state and m anufacture status of lightm agnes ium carbonatew ere analyzed, w ith em
phases on the superiority of our country in de elop ing the light m agnes ium carbonate industry. Be
s ides, the feasible suggestions w ere put forw ard in accordance w ith the ex isting prob lem s. At last,
the de elopm ent direction of lightm agnesium carbonatew as predicted and it was pointed out that the
m anufacture of light m agnesium carbonate shou ld be de eloped towards to the industrial, functional
and refined d irection.
