Renzhong Wang Abstract Objective: To evaluate traditional Chinese medicine Qing Dou Tongqiao Decoction and maxillary sinus puncture treatment to chronic maxillary sinusitis of chronic sinusitis based clinical efficacy and observe the Bi Dou Qing mixture and Fu Shu Liang whether there are differences in efficacy. Methods: 60 patients, who suffer from chronic sinusitis, were divided into two groups at random. The treatment group which involved 30 patients had been taken traditional Chinese medicine Qing Dou Tongqiao Decoction and maxillary sinus puncture for 7 days. The control group were given the Bi Dou Qing mixture and Fu Shu Liang for oral use for 7 days. Both groups were treated for three course. Observe the changes of symptoms and physical signs at the beginning and ending of the experiment, and record adverse reactions. Results: After counted with statistics, the clinical observations show that both groups are effective. The total effective rate of the treatment group is 86.67 ％,while the total effective rate of the control group is 73.33 ％.There is quite significant difference between them （P0.05 ）The efficacy of the treatment group is better than that of the control group. All symptoms and signs of both groups were improved （P0.05 ）.There are no obvious adverse events in the treatment for two groups patient.
