So far, the expermi entalmodels for acne mainly include in vivo anmi almodels and in v itromodels. In vivo anmi almodelsmainly include rabbit earmodel, golden hamster mode,l rhino mouse mode,l M exican hairless dog model, and so on. In v ivo models mainly include keratinocytes culture and sebocyteculture. Theexpermi entalmethods in the recent years are summarized in this review in order to selectproper anmi almodels in expermi ent and provide expermi entalplatform for the screening of antiacne agnets for prevention and control of acne vulgaris in the future.
