History of Liuzhou Liuzhou is the origin of primitive people “Liujiang” in south China. Bailian Cave is where they used to live in 30,000 to 70,000 years ago. Other heritages of ancient people also include Liyuzui(鲤鱼嘴) at Longtan Park which was around 7000 years ago and Manwangcheng （蛮王城(about 4000 years ago), as well as some other smaller heritages along the Liujiang river. Liuzhou Liu zongyuan Liuzhou is the birthplace of ancestors in South China. Liujiang People and Bailiang Cave People lived there even 70 thousand years ago. Liuzhou was set up in the West Han Dynasty over 2,100 years ago
