ABSTRACT In this article, we will study the global solution to a new integrable equation with peakon soliton, which has a similar form to the Camassa-Holm equation, Yin Zhaoyang has already proved the existence of global solution to the equation provided the initial data satisfies certain sign conditions. But we will give the sufficient and necessary condition of global existence of the solution to the equa- tion when initial value is odd, with unique zero point, and we will also show the blow-up result of the equation.
